Farewell Partners is brought to you by the founders of Capital City Events,

Washington, DC's premier meetings and special events company.  Backed by 30 years of experience connecting people through shared experiences for clients as varied as Pfizer, Prudential, Bank of America, Marriott International, Toyota Motorcars, the History Channel and more, the Capital City Events team was poised to react when COVID-19 disrupted the world and the traditional mourning process. 

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDERS

Our story starts in the fall of 2019, when our family experienced a devastating loss of a beloved sibling. The love of our family as we joined together and the support from the community gatherings were paramount in getting us through the grieving process. As COVID-19 made gathering impossible, our hearts broke for those going through a similar experience. We wanted others to be comforted as we were and felt we could help. Combining our personal experience, event planning expertise and knowledge of delivering meaningful virtual experiences, our team will ensure you are able to gather with your community, support each other, and celebrate your loved one in a meaningful way.
